| Many people know IBM as the world's largest provider of computers, software and I/T services.
Fewer people know that IBM contributes significantly to the communities in which it operates. IBM has
donated $1000 to this year's Salkehatchie camp in Huntersville. |

Anyone who has ever worked on a Salkehatchie site knows that a tremendous amount of time
and effort is spent removing trash. We are thankful that BFI, as they did last year, will be
donating dumpsters to each of our sites. |

The Lowe's Improvement Warehouse in Huntersville, NC did a great job supporting us at last year's
camp. This year they are helping even further by letting their customers who are renovating know that
we will take away their old kitchen/bathroom cabinets and provide them with a tax receipt. |

The Salkehatchie Summer Service in Huntersville wouldn't be possible without the help of
HUMC. In addition to providing us with a campsite HUMC's many volunteers support the camp by providing
meals and skilled labor. Billy Rintz, pastor and Perry Brittain, Youth Director provide the spiritual
leadership for the camp. |

Love INC, Charlotte chapter is our newest partner this year. Love INC exists to mobilize area churches to reach out
to a hurting and needy world in the Name and Love of Christ. Love INC has helped expand the presence our camp
by introducing us to homeowners in Charlotte. |

We are grateful for the support of three United Methodist Churches in Charlotte,
St Paul's United Methodist Church, Calvary United Methodist Church and Dilworth United Methodist Church.
The are combining forces provide lunches for our campers who are working on Charlotte-based homes.
Myers Park United Methodist Church will provide showers for our Charlotte-based campers.
First United Methodist Church of China Grove will be providing a lunch for our Huntersville-based
campers. |

The Wynfield Forest Homeowner's Association will allow us to use the shower facilities at
their clubhouse during the camp. Our campsite at HUMC doesn't have any shower facilities so we are
grateful to them. |
 |
Meadowlake Presbyterian Church and New Friendship Presbyterian Church will be serving us
lunches during the week of our camp. Huntersville Presbyterian Church has agreed to provide their
gynasium for our use if any of our outdoor events are rained out. |
 |
The Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics Center will be giving us use of their outdoor
waterpark one of the evenings of our camp. It will be a welcome relief from the July heat! |

The Home Economist has graciously donated snacks for our teams working in Charlotte. They
will certainly be welcomed on those hot days. The Home Economist has two locations in Charlotte at
5410 E Independence Blvd and 2707 South Blvd. |

The YWCA Central Carolinas in Charlotte has stepped up and offered up their shower facilities during the
week of our camp. |
 |
A number of folks in the community have made donations to the cause. Hank and Laverne
Trojan have donated a stove. Lou Spitzer, a Director at Love INC, renovated his kitchen and
gave us his old kitchen cabinets. Noelle Davis has moved into a new home and has donated her
old kitchen cabinets to our camp. Liz and David Branch donated a washer and dryer. Patti
Stiene, part of our planning team had a stove and dishwasher donated. Bill Ratliff, who'll
be one of our site leaders, has donated some building supplies. |

Dr. Gina LiCause has agreed to see any of our campers if they need a doctor. We hope
we don't give her any business but we're delighted that she's there if we need her. Dr. LiCause's
office is located at 10215 Hickorywood Hill Av, Huntersville, NC 28078. |

Jersey Mike's Subs in Cornelius will be providing the meal for our campers on
Saturday evening. They are located off I-77 at Exit #28. The address is
